Hospitality is always evolving and like all industries has rules and regulations, as well as customers that expect a certain level of service. To provide these experiences, people in the hospitality industry need to be motivated and well trained, from safe food handling certifications to Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA). Luckily there are lots of Registered Training Organisations (RTO’s) that can deliver accredited training (RSA’s, VET Courses) as well as non-accredited training companies that can help teach the knowledge and skills required to work in hospitality.

We are proud to provide schools across Tasmania with an exciting and unique opportunity for students with an interest in the Hospitality industry to participate in free Hospitality Awareness Sessions.
An experienced hospitality ambassador will talk to your class about what it is really like working in the fast paced, exciting world of hospitality, how to get a start in the industry and what lessons they have learnt along the way.
Highlighting the diversity of the industry and career and training opportunities, they will also run a pre-selected skills masterclass for your students. Our skills masterclasses are a great way for your students to learn valuable industry skills in a fun, approachable and hands-on way.
