Tasmania’s accommodation sector has delivered its second-best November occupancy result on record, reinforcing the strength of the state’s spring tourism season and the growing appeal of Tasmania as a year-round destination.
Data released by Hospitality Tasmania shows state-wide accommodation occupancy reached 83.6 per cent in November 2025, surpassed only once before – in November 2015, which recorded 83.9 per cent. The figure was also a 3.42 per cent increase on 2024.
The result also marks the second-best spring quarter (September–November) performance ever recorded, again from a decade ago.
